What are these fields?

Codeberg owner
The username or organization that owns the repository. Found in the URL: codeberg.org/owner/repo.
Repository name
The name of the repository where your issue lives. Found in the URL: codeberg.org/owner/repo.
Issue number
The number of the issue to use for comments. Found in the URL: codeberg.org/owner/repo/issues/1.

Getting started

  1. Create a repository on Codeberg (or use an existing one).
  2. Open a new issue — this will be the comment thread for your page. Title it something like "Comments" or "Guestbook".
  3. Enter the owner, repo name, and issue number into the fields above.
  4. Copy the embed code and paste it into your HTML page where you want comments to appear.
  5. That's it! The widget will fetch and display comments from your issue automatically.
